BUILDING A FUTURE — This young man operated a piece of machinery and tried to place a small basketball into a bucket during the 2nd annual Build My Future Wisconsn event that was held at the St. Croix County Fairgrounds in Glenwood City last Wednesday October 5. The all-day event, which featured over 50 different vendors and 1,500 students from 35 different school districts, including Glenwood City and Boyceville, in western Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota, offered participants the opportunity to have a hands-on experience in a variety of construction and skilled trades jobs. —photo by Shawn DeWitt
