SEVERAL wedding dresses worn by brides of the Sand Creek area were on display in the history room during the weekend of July 16-19 in commeroration of the towns 150 year anniversary. The dress on the left was worn by Helen Hanson when she married John Anderson in 1934, the middle dress was worn by Jeanette Louise Bitney for her wedding in 1941 to Malcolm Lofthus and the dress on the right was the bridal gown of Vera June LaPean for her marriage to Kenneth Nelson on Valentines Day, 1944.photo by M.
